And if that's not enough, Tarnia had the incredible chance to be a sports commentator for a day!
And, of course, there is, as always, helpful advice from us on all things pensions and investments.
So, grab another cuppa, get comfy, and dive into all the fantastic stories we have lined up for you this November. Enjoy the read!
Warm wishes,
Annabel, Tarnia and John

A Personal Play-by-Play Adventure: Embracing the Excitement Tarnia takes the mic!
You know me, I'm all about embracing new opportunities with open arms!
So when Beyond Radio reached out to see if I'd like to join the commentary for the Morecambe Football Club match, I was over the moon!
Teaming up with Dave Salmon was absolutely amazing, and the energy in the commentary box was nothing short of contagious.
Although the match didn't end as we'd hoped, the game against Chesterfield Football Club was a sensational rollercoaster, with seven thrilling goals keeping us all on our toes.
The adrenaline, the passion, the sheer excitement—it's experiences like these that make me love being part of our community, and I can't wait for the next chance to dive back into the beautiful game! 🙌🏻
If they’ll have me!
Planning Your Dream Retirement: The Key to a Harmonious Future Together
Retirement planning can be one of the most exciting yet challenging conversations you'll have with your partner.
Are you both on the same page when it comes to envisioning your golden years?
It's a topic that deserves more than just a passing mention over dinner. To truly understand this next phase of life, it’s essential to communicate openly and early on.
First, consider when you might want to stop working. This isn’t just about picking a date; it's about aligning your dreams and ensuring your timelines match. Have you considered how much you'll need to maintain your desired lifestyle? It’s not just about covering the basics; it’s about having the freedom to enjoy life’s little luxuries and experiences.
Then there’s the question of how you’ll spend your time once the daily grind is behind you.
Have you both envisioned what your days will look like? Whether it's travelling, picking up new hobbies, or spending more time with family, ensuring your post-retirement activities align can make all the difference.
Remember, communication is key. Start these discussions early and revisit them regularly. You might be surprised to find that you and your partner have different visions for retirement. By talking it through, you can align your goals and work towards a shared future that excites both of you.
Preparation is indeed the key to a satisfying and harmonious retirement. By taking the time to plan together, you're not just preparing for retirement; you’re setting the stage for a fulfilling journey ahead.
So grab a cup of tea, sit down with your partner, and start dreaming about the possibilities.
Your future selves will thank you!
Revving Up Insights and Connections: A Day at #PFSRewired in Manchester
This month, Annabel had the pleasure of attending the #PFSRewired event in Manchester, which was an absolute blast!
The day was packed with insightful sessions covering various topics, from mastering communication across different generations to the latest ESG investments and key planning considerations following the recent budget.
A huge thank you to the incredible speakers, including Amira Norris, Jason Bates, Nicola Day, Roddy Munro, Rohan S. Paul Taylor, and Paul Boross MBE, for their engaging presentations.
We were also thrilled to hear from Guenther Steiner and Karun Chandhok about the exciting tech innovations driving F1 forward.
Annabel managed a cheeky photo with Guenther Steiner, the Italian and American motorsport engineer and former team manager. Steiner was the Team Principal of the Haas Formula One Team from 2016 to 2023, the managing director of Jaguar Racing from 2001 to 2003, and the technical operations director of its subsequent incarnation, Red Bull Racing.
I recently had the wonderful opportunity to meet one of my cricketing heroes, Jimmy Anderson, at a book signing event.
Known for his incredible contributions to English cricket and his current role as the fast bowling mentor for the England team, Anderson has long been an inspiration to me.
As a passionate cricket fan, it was fab to meet Jimmy, and as an avid reader, I am currently tucking into the book.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Kate Child for her fantastic review!
Recently Kate visited us to tackle some "grown-up admin"—yes, pensions!
We chatted about all sorts had a brew, and we are glad Kate found the experience productive and enjoyable. It’s always a pleasure to make these tasks feel seamless and comfortable. If you're thinking about sorting out your financial tasks, come visit us at TP Financial Solutions. We are here to make your financial journey as smooth and pleasant as possible!
