“Over the past year, I have been working alongside Tarnia on a project at West End Primary School, Morecambe, where we have been working with parents to build their confidence with money. Funded by the MSE Charity and headed up by The Growing Club, the sessions are delivered in school and are designed to give participants insight into what they should be aware of - incomings and outgoings.
By supporting them through this process, the idea is for them to be more confident with money and to pass these skills on to their children. Therefore supporting the next generation and giving them confidence when discussing money matters.
Tarnia plays a key role within this project and designed a thought-provoking set of workshops entitled 'Knowledge is Power.' The feedback has been amazing, and all participants have made changes to how they spend, or indeed don't spend, money.
It has been an absolute privilege to work alongside Tarnia on this project, and I hope she is aware of the difference she has made to those parents' lives. Thank you.”
